The Massachusetts DEP won’t do a thing to Swiss Air or Mass Port, but let some little guy with a gas station have a leak and they come down like gang busters. Mass Port should have to pay for lost wages and clam bed restoration. A $100,000 fine wouldn’t hurt either. Don’t expect it to happen though. Their all hacks.

Sallie lamawhatever can always go back to his city hall seat, but what will he do then? Every neighbor of his will have a sign on their house(that will not have his name on it? Every elected official will have to figure out what they are gonna say to constituents and reporters when asked if Sallie is the better candidate…….nevermind all the dirt coming out??? Sallie should run for dog catcher……then he can always still go back to his city hall seat…….Ill advised and lonely

I live around Chelsea and Porter St and it seems that some residents don’t care about keeping the neighborhood clean. Each week I’m out sweeping the sidewalk and gutter of litter from in front of my building, but soon after it gets filthy again. What worse is the Asians that pick through the garbage for bottles every trash day. They rip open the trash bags and it ends up on the sidewalk for the seagulls. It’s very annoying when some are trying to maintain a clean environment and other could care less. There should be stricter fines for people that litter.

Oh my goodness I couldn’t agree more! I heard all the hype, called and was also put off by the person who answered the phone. We drove an hour after being told to call back around 4:00 and when we did we were told there was a three hour wait !!!! We ate there and the food was indeed good but c’mon…..just take reservations already people!

Has anyone simply wondered why they won’t accept reservations? Instead of sending us across the street to drink and wait for 2 hours to be privileged enough to eat there, maybe they should come into the 19th century and start taking reservations….
And at the same time, get rid of the nasty person who answers the phone and tells us first to call back and put our names on a list at 4:30pm, then at 4:31pm, when we call back, tells us that there is 2 1/2 hour wait….
And then the next time we try to go, tells us that there isn’t a waiting list anymore….but that we could drive an hour from the suburbs and then wait 2 hours on the sidewalk…
Seriously, it’s not that good….

That,s not comletely true, there are many areas that are getting high rernt, not just JP, and with the new watrfront development coming, it can only be a plus for the area as a whole.
