In honor of Gina Scalcione the Gove Street Citizens Association Board and Rep. Adrian Madaro presented Jack Scalcione with a gavel and framed copy of the East Boston Times issue that paid tribute to his late wife. Both Gina and Jack Scalcione founded and co-chaired the community group for many years. Mrs. Scalcione passed away in March after decades as a community activist and standing up for her beloved East Boston.
