Jesus, played by Allen Saini, is triumphantly resurrected during the Passion Play at East Boston Central Catholic School on Weds., March 28. Hundreds of students watched the portrayal of Jesus’ condemnation and his torturous ascent through the streets to Golgotha. Finally, Jesus is nailed to the cross and takes his final breath before victoriously rising, as shown here. The neighborhood was brimming with excitement last week as Holy Week took place, followed by Easter Sunday celebrations as well.
