Jessica Ann Gore

Of Fall River, formerly of East Boston

Jessica Ann Gore of Fall River, formerly of East Boston, passed away unexpectedly on September 2 at the age of 36.

She was the loving daughter of William and Irene (Smith) Gore, Sr., cherished mother of Richard John, Destiny Ann and Shyann Elizabeth Gore; devoted sister of Jennifer and her husband, Robin Cartagena, Jillian and her husband, Francisco Cartagena and Billy, Jr. and is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family and friends will honor Jessica’s life by gathering on Saturday, September 9 in the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga St. (Orient Heights) East Boston from 4 to 6 p.m. followed by a prayer service. Cremation service to follow will be private. Funeral home is handicapped accessible, children’s lounge available, courtesy valet parking front entrance, ample off street parking with attendant in our several off street lots. Laura Angela Mango

Of Winthrop, formerly of East Boston

Laura Angela Mango of Winthrop, a former long time resident of Orient Heights East Boston, passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on August 30.

The beloved wife of the late Frank Mango, she was the loving mother of Steven Mango and his

wife, Marie of Saugus and Frank Mango and his wife, Kathy of Denver, Colorado; adored grandmother of Steven Mango II and his husband, Jeff Myers of Los

Angeles, California and Alexis Mango of Saugus; cherished daughter of the late Edward and Laura (Fabrizio) Porcaro; loving sister

of the late Charles, Dominic, and Gerard “Jit” Labella, Erminia DeFelice and Mary,

Helen, Viola, Frances, Henry and Ralph Porcaro and fond aunt of many nieces and

nephews.

Private entombment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Family and Friends

are invited to attend a Memorial Mass to celebrate Laura’s life in St. Joseph – St.

Lazarus Church, 59 Ashley St, East Boston, on Saturday morning September 9 at

10 o’clock.  Arrangements are entrusted to Vazza’s Funeral Homes, 262 Beach Street,

Revere. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Laura’s name to the Catholic TV

Richard Louis Giarle

Richard Louis Giarle of Revere, formerly of East Boston, passed away on Wednesday, August 30. He was 74 years old.

A Mutual Clerk at Suffolk Downs for over 40 years, he was the cherished son of the late Louis and Loretta (Cosco) Giarle, the loving brother of Patricia Powers, Linda Greco and her husband, Philip, Gary Giarle and Lori Silva and her husband, Anthony; adored uncle

of Stephanie, Philip, Lisa, Carrie, Anthony, Nicholas and the late Barry and is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Mark S. Francis of East Boston passed away peacefully with his wife by his side holding his hand on August 30 after a long and courageous illness.

The beloved husband of Lois M. B. (Arinella) Fisher of East Boston, he was the loving son of the late Ralph and Jewel (Dunbar) Francis; devoted father of Khristian Williams and her husband, Steven and Mark and Melissa Francis; dear brother of Darlene Naso and her husband, Sal, Charlene Francis and the late Ralph Francis; cherished grandfather of  Mariah and Mackenzie Williams as well as other grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor Mark’s life by gathering on Saturday morning,  September 9, at the Sacred Heart Church, Brooks Street,  East Boston at 9:50 a.m. to celebrate Mark’s life with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow will be private. Toni M. Flaherty of Revere, formerly of Chelsea, died unexpectedly at the age 36 on August 31.

The beloved  daughter of the late Michael and Marie “Honey” (Strazzulla) and the cherished granddaughter of Marie “Nonny” DeFazio of Revere, formerly of the North End, she is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family and friends will honor Toni’s life by gathering in the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga St. (Orient Heights) East Boston this evening, Wednesday, from 5 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:45 p.m. Cremation to follow will be private.
