Mary Giorgio

Of East Boston

Mary S. (Vitale) Giorgio of East Boston passed away on February 5 surrounded by her loving family. She was 85 years old.

The beloved wife of the late Mario Giorgio, she was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Rocco and Antonetta (Blasi) Vitale. She was the devoted mother of Marie A. Zona and her husband, Michael of Winthrop, Rhonda L. Bonfiglio and her husband, Peter of East Boston and Ralph A. Giorgio and his wife, Patricia of Winthrop; adored grandmother of Rhonda Areniello and her husband, Tizzianno, Mario Zona and his wife, Tara, Vannessa DaMelio and her husband, David, Joseph Bonfiglio and his wife, Nicole, Jodi Bonfiglio, John Paul Giorgio and Eric Leach and great-grandmother of Louis, Lia, Tizziano, Savanah, Gia, David, Michael, Mary, Cordelia and Wyatt. Mary was also pre-deceased by her brothers and sisters. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral will be held from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home, 210 Winthrop St., Winthrop today, Wednesday, February 10 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church, Winthrop at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Anna Scali

Of East Boston

Anna (Giannetti) Scali of East Boston passed away February 1. She was 96 years old.

She was the beloved wife the late John J. Scali; loving mother of Barbara Mattina and her husband, Joseph of Lynnfield, and Joseph Scali and his wife, Marie of Peabody; cherished grandmother of Stephanie, Christopher, Joseph and the late John; great grandmother of John, David, Alexandria, Anthony, Adrianna, Ava, John and Joshua; dear sister of the late Benny Giannetti.

Sharon DiGregorio

Registered Nurse

Sharon D. (DiMartino) DiGregorio of North Reading, formerly of Burlington and Revere, died at home on February 8 surrounded by her family after a long illness. She was 55 years old.

Sharon was a graduate of North East Vocational High School and Boston College School of Nursing. She worked for many years as a Cancer Research Nurse at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington.

The beloved wife of Dan DiGregorio, she was the devoted mother of Marissa of Chicago and Bianca and Cassaundra of North Reading; loving daughter of Joseph and Gloria (Gassiraro) DiMartino of Revere; dear sister of Karen D. Bertolino and her husband, Richard of Lynnfield and is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral will be held from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere St., Revere on Thursday, February 11 at 10 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St Anthony’s Church at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
