The Eastie AquaJets had a meet against Archbishop Williams of Braintree last week and this meet featured former college teammates coaching against each other. Our own Dave Arinella and Joe Lally, both Brandeis University grads, went toe to toe in a close fought meet which Williams won by 4 points. Coach Lally presented Coach Arinella with a Brandeis Univ. Swimming and Diving jacket which humbled and surprised Coach Arinella. Arinella stated after the meet, ” It took me by complete surprise, I thought Lally was making a presentation for his seniors and then out comes this nice jacket.” Eastie has the City Championship coming up later this week.
