John Ronald Arcadipane

Member of Carpenters Local 33

John Ronald Arcadipane of East Boston passed away on  October 6. He was 85 years old.

 John was a US Navy Veteran and a member of Carpenters Local 33 Boston.

He was the beloved husband of Dorothy “Dottie” (Daddieco) Arcadipane; loving father of Donna DeVito and her husband, Dr. Louis DeVito Jr., Andrew J. Arcadipane and his wife, Tricia, Joan Vitale and her husband, Gerard and Mia Moran and her husband, Louis Jr.; cherished grandfather of Matthew, Katie, Jenna, Daniel, Abby, Holly, Zackary and the late Jonathan; caring brother of Andrew Arcadipane, Joseph Arcadipane and the late Mary Tucci and is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, Revere. Esther LeBlanc

Former East Boston resident, longtime Holiday Inn employee

Esther T. (Babine) LeBlanc of Lynn, formerly of East Boston, died on October 7 at home with her family by her side.

Esther was born in New Bedford on October 29, 1926 and was raised in Wedgeport, Nova Scotia and Medford, MA. In her early years she worked as a seamstress and a housekeeper. Later in life, she worked in the housekeeping department at the Holiday Inn, Boston for over 30 years where she received many awards for her dedication.

She was the beloved wife of the late Peter M. LeBlanc; mother of Robert G. LeBlanc of East Boston, Lois T. Noseworthy and her husband, Kenneth W. of Lynn and the late Melvin J. LeBlanc and the daughter of the late Herman and Daisy Babin. She is  survived by her brother, Jean Cottreau of Canada. She was the sister of the late William H. Babin, Genesta LeBlanc, Martin LeBlanc and Alma Cottreau. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were by the Magrath Funeral Home, East Boston. Interment was in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to  either All Care Hospice, 210 Market St., Lynn 01901 or New England Veterinary Clinic, 204 Highland Ave., Salem 01970 would be appreciated.
