Manuel de los Santos Torres

Of East Boston

Manuel de los Santos Torres of East Boston died on March 20.

He was the beloved husband of Iris M. (Rios); father of Maria, Gloria, Haydee and Elga Torres, all of East Boston, Carmen Noone, Jorge Torres and his wife, Christine, Nelson Torres and his wife, Michele, all of Florida, Edna McDonald and her husband, David of Reading, Mirta Torres and her husband Richard DiNanno of Wakefield, Hector Torres and his wife, Ann Marie of Woburn, Juan Torres and his wife, Patricia of Saugus, Marta Miller of New Hampshire and Freddy Torres and his wife, Gina of Wilmington; brother of Juan Jorge Torres of Florida, Marta Torres Arlequin of Puerto Rico and the late Benito, Antonio, Maria Anjelica, Eulalia and Etanislaos “Chalo” Torres. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours in the Magrath Funeral Home, 325 Chelsea St. [at Day Sq] East Boston will be today, Wednesday, March 25 from 4 to 8 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 404 Sumner St., East Boston Thursday morning, March 26 at 10:30 a.m. PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO CHURCH. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Manuel’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated. Anna Cennamo

Of East Boston

Anna Cennamo of East Boston died on March 19.

She was the beloved sister of Ida Cennamo and the late Fanny Meola, Mary Cennamo, Lucy Pignatone and Louise Iannaccone, all of East Boston. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were by the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home (Orient Heights) East Boston. Anna was laid to rest at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Boston.

Bernice Iasbarrone

Former owner of Richard’s Gift Shop in East Boston

Bernice E. (Decristoforo) Iasbarrone of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, formerly of East Boston, died on March 16. She was 77 years old.

She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel J. Iasbarrone, Jr.; loving mother of Adriane Fitzpatrick of Fort Lauderdale and Marguerite “Margy” Cambria and her husband, Mark of Winthrop; devoted grandmother of Jillian Fitzpatrick of Fort Lauderdale; cherished sister of Richard Decristorforo and his wife, Lorraine of East Boston; daughter of the late Americo and Adeline (Mondello) Decristoforo.  She is also survived by her loving granddog, Scotty.  Funeral arrangements were by the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home (Orient Heights) East Boston.
