Eastie residents have been very generous all week supporting the victims of last week’s fire on Sumner and Webster Streets but more can be done.
The Tylers are turning their one year anniversary of the Maverick Market Place into a fundraiser for the victims on August 9 and 10.
Residents can also donate money through the Harborside Council via check.
In other news, the Todesca Family of East Boston have set up a Go Fund Me “Eastie for Revere Tornado Victims” online.
On July 28 a tornado struck the city of Revere. There were millions of dollars in damages to homes and businesses and the City was told by the government that they did not qualify for FEMA assistance. The Todesca Family created this account to help friends, family and loved ones in Revere who were affected by this terrible act of Mother Nature.
They hope to raise $7,000 for our neighbors in Revere.
