Mary Grace (Viola) Frangolini of East Boston died on April 30.
She was the beloved wife of the late Pasquale Frangolini; devoted mother of Josephine Aref-Adib of Chestnut Hill and Pat Frangolini and his wife, Angela of East Boston; dear sister of Frank Viola of East Boston, cherished grandmother of Christopher, Nicole and Nicholas.
A Funeral Mass was held at Sacred Heart Church, East Boston on May 5 and services concluded with Mary being laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery. Peter Granara of East Boston passed away on Sunday, May 4. He was 50 years old.
He was the cherished son of Constance (LaGrassa) and the late Richard Granara; loving father of Joy Granara of East Boston and the late Peter Granara Jr. ; dear brother of Kim D’Amico and her husband, Louis of Saugus and the late Richard Granara and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor Peter’s life by gathering for visiting hours in Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach St., Revere today, Wednesday, May 7 from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 8:30 a.m. Thursday morning before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church, East Boston for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in his honor at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
