Massport Retiree, Manager of Cloud Nine Restaurant at Logan Airport and Hostess at the New Bridge Cafe of Chelsea

Marie E. ( Tucci ) Mandracchia of Revere, formerly of East Boston, passed away on December 23 surrounded by her son and grandchildren. Marie was the manager of Cloud Nine Restaurant at Logan Airport for over 28 years. She retired from Massport and was a hostess at the New Bridge Café of Chelsea. She was the loving and devoted mother of Mark Mandracchia of Revere; former wife of Fred J. Mandracchia of Everett; dear sister of Dorothy Procopio of W. Peabody and the late Georgiana Aiello and the cherished grandmother of Mark Jr., Marisa, Christopher, and Christina and great grandmother of Dominic Mandracchia Gennari. Madeline (Ciampa) Bresnaham of Revere, formerly of Everett, passed away December 24.

A housewife, she was the beloved wife of the late Jack Bresnaham; cherished daughter of the late Pelino and Teresina (Colella) Ciampa; dear sister of the late Matilda LaCortiglia and friend of Gloria Haggerty of Revere.

Louis J. Petillo of Revere died on December 18.

A US Army veteran of World War II and a member of the MSPCA, he was the dear brother of Angela D’Alessandro of East Boston, Joseph Petillo of Salisbury and the late James V. Petillo, Clementina Schettini, Anthony A. Petillo, Rena Rossi and Theresa Petillo and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Phyllis C. (Sarno) Dalton of East Boston went home to her God on Christmas Day, December 25.

Phyllis, who volunteered for many years at the East Boston Social Center, was the beloved wife of the late Michael, devoted mother of Patricia McDonough and Michael “Mickey” Dalton (former Mass. State Senate employee) and his wife, Ellen, all of East Boston; dear sister of Nancy Stymest of Medford, Constance Sarno of Revere, Charles Sarno of Rockland, and Mary Botelho of Medford; cherished grandmother of eight grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Ralph Scaramella, formerly of Winthrop and East Boston, died in Wakefield, NH on December 28. He was in his 91st year. A former employee of a rubber company in Chelsea, he was the beloved husband of the late Helen ( Rogowicz ) with whom he shared 36 years of marriage; loving father of Donna Capolupo and her husband, Vincent of Wakefield, Doreen Scaramella of New Hampshire and Deborah Sek and her husband, Ronald of Peabody; cherished son of the late Vincent and Florabell ( Godien ) Scaramella and brother of the late Rita Cericola, Madeline Greco, Dorothy Pescione, Flora Kimball, Virginia De Angelis and Marie Danielson; cherished grandfather of Vincent and Shana Capolupo, Jacqueline Licona, Amanda Caulkins, Olivia and Austin Sek and great grandfather of Ava Licona and Wyatt Caulkins.
