Peter Zirpolo, Jr.

Self Employed Welder

Peter A. Zirpolo, Jr. of Revere, formerly of Orient Heights East Boston, died on September 26 after battling terminal cancer with the greatest care at Cambridge Hospital with a special thank you to the attending staff in the Emergency Room and the ICU. He was 60 years old.

The cherished son of Mary (Amerault) Zirpolo of New Hampshire and the late Peter A. Zirpolo, Sr., he was the dear brother of Honey Soroka and her husband, Ed of New Hampshire; Caroline Cantone and husband, Michael of Revere; Sharon D’Orlando and her husband, Billy of Beverly; and Gail Gioioso and her husband, Domenic of New Hampshire and the children of their beloved uncle. He is also remembered by all the Zirpolo and Amerault Families of East Boston his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was the grandson of the late Sophie and Anthony Zirpolo; Madeline and Edward Sr. Amerault and Uncle Johnny and remaining brothers and sisters of Peter Sr, aunts and uncles: Anna, Margie, Gracie, Louie, Joe, Dickie, Frankie, their husbands and wives, and special nephew to Marion “ Auntie Marion” and Anthony “Uncle Jr-Zip” and Cousin Vincent and special family friend Bill Toppi of Revere (With all due respect to any family members not mentioned, too many to include.)

Family and friends are invited to attend a service in our chapel of the resurrection on Thursday, October 3 in Vazza’s “Beechwood Funeral Home, 262 Beach Street, Revere at 11 a.m. Family and friends may visit Thursday from 9 to 11 a.m. Committal will be private. Theresa Adamson

Of Peabody, formerly of Revere

Theresa A. “Terry” (Rolli) Adamson of Peabody, formerly of Revere, passed away on September 25 surrounded by her loving family.

She was the beloved wife of William “Billy” Adamson; cherished daughter of Anthony and Mona (Bertolino) Rolli of Peabody; loving mother of William A. Adamson and his fiancée, Sarah Seidman of N. Andover and Ryan J. Adamson of Peabody; adored sister of Christopher Rolli and his friend, Scott Berry of Peabody and Brenda (Rolli) Newman and her husband, William of Peabody. Terry was also a dear sister in law to Thomas Adamson and his late wife, Gail of Peabody and James Adamson and his wife, Helen of Winthrop and is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral arrangements were by Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, Revere. Interment was at Puritan Lawn, Peabody.

Eda Raia

Shawmut Bank Retiree

Eda (Buonasaro) Raia of Tewksbury, formerly of Revere and the North End of Boston, died on September 26 at Saints Memorial Hospital in Lowell. She was 84 years old.

A long time clerk at Shawmut Bank in Boston, she was born and raised in the North End before moving to East Boston and Revere.

Mrs. Raia was the wife of the late Filippo Raia; devoted mother of Anthony and his wife, Lori of Haverhill, Filippo II and his wife, Rose of Pennsylvania, Mathew of Tewksbury and the late Francesco and his surviving wife, Stephanie of Malden; dear sister of the late Peter Buonasaro and Sarah Fatalo; cherished grandmother of 22, great-grandmother of 10 and great-great grandmother of two.

Carol Harrison

Of East Boston

Carol T. (Nuzzo) Harrison died in East Boston on September 28.

The beloved wife of the late Francis J. Harrison, she was the mother of Kevin, Vincent and Dennis Harrison; grandmother of Kirk, Randy, Timothy, Valerie, Dennis Jr., Lauren and Vincent Jr. and great-grandmother of Jake and Megan.

Her Funeral will be held from the Magrath Funeral Home, 325 Chelsea St. [at Day Sq] East Boston on Thursday, October 3 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, 45 Brooks St., East Boston at 10 o’clock. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are today, Wednesday, October 2 from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Michele “Mike” Viola

Self Employed Painter

Michele “Mike” Viola of Revere, formerly of Everett, East Boston and Locri Reggio Calabria, Italy died unexpectedly on September 21.

A self employed painter born in Italy, he was the son of the late Luciano and Teresa Viola; loving father of Luciano Viola of East Boston, Nicholas Viola and his fiancé, Courtney MacDonald, both of Winthrop, Daniel Viola of Melrose and the late Michael Viola; dear brother of Sarina Viola of Revere and Filipo and Giuseppe Viola of Italy; cherished grandfather of Nicholas Daniel Viola and Gianna and Ava Viola.
