Angel Gonzalez

Accident Victim

Angel L Gonzalez of Chelsea died tragically, by accident, on July 3. He was 44 years old.

Born in Arroyo, Puerto Rico, Angel passed away tragically late Wednesday evening after being hit while changing a tire in the breakdown lane of Rt. 93 in Windham, New Hampshire.

He was the devoted son of Violeta (Amaro) Gonzalez of Pennsylvania and the late Juan Gonzalez; beloved brother of Juan Gonzalez, Jr. of Pennsylvania, Maria Harrold of Beverly, Carmen Gonzalez of Providence, Rhode Island, Felix Gonzalez of Chelsea, Juan Alberto Gonzalez of East Boston and Jeannie Pagan of Pennsylvania and is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends are kindly invited to attend his Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, Chelsea, today, Wednesday, July 10 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service in My Father’s House, 19 Coolidge Street, Revere at 10 o’clock. Anna ‘Diane’ McCall

Of Winthrop, formerly of East Boston

Anna “Diane” (Puma) McCall of Winthrop, formerly of East Boston, died on July 2.

She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel L. McCall, loving mother of Regina Falzone of Winthrop and the late Diana Melanson; cherished grandmother of Frank Egan and Michael Falzone and also leaves three loving great grandchildren: Anthony Egan and Sofia and Michael Falzone.

James Cobb

Retired GE Senior Design Draftsman

James F. Cobb of 319 Darby Drive, Laconia, NH  died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Wednesday, July 3. He was 77 years old.

Mr. Cobb was born November 3, 1935 in Boston, the son of Charles and Mary (McEachern) Cobb. He served in the US Army and worked for several years as a senior design draftsman for General Electric. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Laconia.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Janet (Balletto) Cobb of Laconia; one son, James E. Cobb and three daughters; Janice Stefanski, Carol Ann Sharbutt and Kathryn Cobb; five grandchildren; Dannialle Sharbutt, David Sharbutt, Stephanie Cobb, Jessica Cobb and Timothy Cobb’ three brothers; Ronald Cobb, Charles Cobb and Joseph Fabiano, two sisters; Mary Tango Goulart and Anna Papandria, 10 nieces and 12 nephews.

Funeral arrangements were by the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H. Annette ‘Netta’ Valente

Of East Boston

Annette J. “Netta” (Fucillo) Valente died in East Boston on July 5.

She was the beloved wife of the late George S. Valenti; sister of Linda “Emma” of Revere and her late husband, Louis Hascall, Louise and her husband, Joseph Bruno of Revere and the late Carl Fucillo, Margie and her husband, Arthur Falsini, Edythe Fucillo Carol and her husband, Dr. Gerald Pagliuca; aunt of Joanne, Glenn and Marianne Salza, Carl Hascall, Carol Gill and many other nieces and nephews.

Vittorio Aresco

Restaurant Chef

Vittorio M.  Aresco of Revere, formerly of East Boston, died on July 1. He was 44 years old.

Mr. Aresco worked as a chef at a restaurant.

He was the cherished son of Angelo and Rosa ( Bisalti ) Aresco of Revere,  the loving brother of Vincenza  Pardi and her friend, Michael Pasquale and Anna Bonasoro and her husband, Leonard, all of Revere; adored grandson of the late Vittorio and Vincenza ( Rosa ) Aresco and Giuseppi and Nella ( Ruma ) Bisalti; fond nephew of Anna Pisaturo and  Carmelo and Joseph Aresco, all of Revere, Sabatiano “Yano” of Stoneham, Anthony of North Reading, William of New Hampshire, Frank and Richard, both of Malden, John of East Boston, Salvatore of Revere and Nino Basalti of North Andover and the late Salvatore, Roberto and Agostino Aresco and the uncle of Joseph and Tanner Pardi and Nicholas and Emily Bonasoro. Peter Letras

Of East Boston

Peter Letras of East Boston died on June 30. He was 69 years old.

The cherished son of the late Nicholas and Priscilla (Imperioso) Letras, he was the dear brother of Susan Letras-Piro of Saugus; adored uncle of Joseph Piro, Jr. of Saugus and Michael Piro and his wife, Julie of Tewksbury and is also survived by many loving cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga St., East Boston on Thursday,  July 11 at 1 p.m. Visitation with the family prior to the service will begin at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Services will conclude with Peter being laid to rest with his parents in Woodlawn Cemetery Everett.

Carol Kane

Of East Boston

Carol (Hall) Kane of East Boston passed away on July 2 at the Boston Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was 76 years old.

She was born on March 30, 1937 and was the beloved wife of the late Francis Kane; devoted mother of Anthony Cinelli, Michael Cinelli and Marianne, Paula Coleman and Chris,  Lynda Ranelli and John, all of Revere, Scott Cinelli and Lori of East Boston, Ronald Cinelli and Angela of Gloucester, Cara Cinelli of East Boston, Laurie Cinelli-Penta and Anthony of New Hampshire, and Thomas Cinelli and Robin of East Boston; dear sister of Phyllis Pizzi of East Boston, Marilyn Miner of Oregon and the late Eleanor Tramonte, Audrey Gambale, Thomas Hall and Patricia Bolognese; adored grandmother of 23 grandchildren and one great-grandchild and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephew.

She was laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. May she rest in eternal peace. Flowers will be appreciated or memorial donations in Carol’s memory may be made to the St. Jude Childrens Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Anne Elaine Mc Ree

April 18, 1927 – June 30, 2013

Anne Elaine Mc Ree of Millbrae passed away at her home. She was 86 years old.

She was a native of Boston who loved her family and many friends. Elaine enjoyed travel, parties, food and fun. She lived a full life and would never give up on anything.

She was the loving wife for over 47 years of the late Nevel Mc Ree and is survived by her daughter, Gail Bagby and her husband, the late Ron Bagby and her son, Michael Mc Ree and his wife, Mary Lynn; her grandchildren: Julie and her husband, Michael Molloy, Jennifer and her husband, Sam Suen) Sean, Ryan and his wife, Emily and Colin and her great-grandchildren, Kylie, Brandon, Kaitlyn and Sarah. Elaine is also survived by two sisters, Marie Staffieri of Boston and Patricia King of Holbrook, MA and their families.

A Vigil service was held at the Chapel of The Highlands, 194 Millwood Dr. at El Camino Real in Millbrae, CA. The Funeral Mass was celebrated on July 5 at St. Dunstan Catholic Church, 1133 Broadway in Millbrae. Committal services followed at Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno.
