Lucy Ferullo
Lucia “Lucy” Ferullo, a longtime East Boston activist who gave her whole self to every neighborhood endeavor she was involved in, has died. Ferullo died at her longtime home on Haynes Street surrounded by her family following a long illness. She was 84.
Ferullo was born and raised in East Boston and was educated at East Boston Schools. A single mother, Ferullo raised her three children at the family home on Haynes Street and began a lifelong passion of committing to any cause that protected the neighborhood and its residents.
